Test before simply re-gassing
Refrigerant should not repeatedly disappear from a sealed system. If pressure is too low or a leak is suspected, testing helps avoid charging a system that cannot retain refrigerant.
Possible causes include leaking seals or pipework, a damaged condenser, a faulty pressure sensor or valve, and compressor or electrical problems. The correct repair depends on the test results and vehicle design.
